Sit Means Sit is a remote collar dog training school.
The crux of remote collar training or e collar training is to remove the leash and have the remote control coupled with good leadership take over. In essence, you want the dog or puppy to view the remote collar as the leash (thinking that the owner has full control).
Beyond the leash training is easier than many dog owners imagine. Sometimes when dog trainers go on evaluations they there demo dog to demonstrate what remote collar training can accomplish.
Moreover, many of our members, who choose to utilize our Long Island Dog Training School for private lessons are amazed at how much gets accomplished after just one lesson.
This is not to say that leash training doesn’t have its place, because it does, and that’s why we still perform leash training.
Often what separates the mediocra dog trainers from the great Long Island Dog Trainers can be the leash!
